A more flexible approach to DBT
At Wise Mind Counseling, we offer a range of DBT-based services, including individual therapy, DBT skills groups, phone coaching, and workshops.
Unlike more rigid DBT progams, we keep things flexible and tailored to you.

You don’t have to commit to everything all at once. Instead, we work with you to find what fits your needs, your schedule, and your goals.

We call this flexible DBT, because therapy should feel doable, not overwhelming.

Teens will learn and practice core DBT skills, including emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness, with a strong focus on applying these tools in everyday life.

This group includes DBT phone coaching for support between sessions. To ensure consistency and the best outcomes, all participants must also be engaged in individual therapy. Cameras on are required to help build connection and engagement within the group.

Who is this group for?
This group is a great fit for teens who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, struggle with relationships, or find themselves stuck in patterns they want to change. While DBT was originally developed for Borderline Personality Disorder, these skills are widely effective for challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, disordered eating, substance use, and more. No specific diagnosis is required. These are life skills that can benefit any teen.
