How Can We Help?
Does WMC accept insurance?
Wise Mind Counseling does not accept insurance, however, we are more than happy to work with any clients Out of Network benefits. We find that upon providing a weekly/monthly superbill for clients, many folks end up getting back around 50%-70% reimbursment- depending on the insurance plan.
Is WMC LGBTQ+ Affirming?
Yes we are!! All groups and individual sessions offered at WMC are LGBTQ+ Affirming. Our company is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment where all clients can thrive. We are dedicated to promoting equality and opportunity for all, and to fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and belonging.
Do the groups have a start and end date?
All groups have an open enrollment format, where clients can join at any time and stay for as long as they like, as long as our program is helpful for them. Clients are not held to any kind of commitment when it comes to groups, in order to ensure that they feel they are getting what they need from WMC without any financial or time-commitment pressure.
Does WMC have in-person services?
At this time, WMC is offering all virtual services.
Can I engage in a DBT Skills group with WMC and continue seeing my current therapist?
Yes, absolutley! If you have a heathy and effective relationship with your current therapist, there is no need to stop seeing them if you'd like to engage in our DBT Skills groups! Skills groups are an awesome adjuct to the work being done in individual therapy. If you'd like, you are welcome to sign a consent form for your individual therapist so they can collaborate with your WMC provider, in an effort to provide you with the most streamlined and collaborative care possible!
